Dog Walking and Pet Visits

 

1.    All client’s will be deemed to have accepted ‘You’d Be Barking Not 2’ terms and conditions as  laid out here on signature of the contract.

 

2.    ‘You’d Be Barking Not 2’ will not confirm any booking until a full free consultation has been carried out with the client – outlining all the client’s requirements and the terms and conditions has been signed by the client.

 

3.    The client should provide all equipment/items necessary for the pet to be adequately cared for. Such as leads, harness’s, collars, id tags, medication, food, cat litter, muzzles, poo bags, training treats, towels etc.

 

4.    The client must provide contact names and numbers of anyone who is capable of making a decision relating to the pet(s) in an emergency. If the contact is not available ‘You’d Be Barking Not 2’ reserves the right to consult with a veteran surgeon and then make a decision in the best interests of the animal. Contact numbers of the Vets used by the client must also be provided.

 

5.    The client is responsible for any vets bills no matter how they occurred whilst in the care of ‘You’d Be Barking Not 2’

 

6.    All dogs mustwear collars and ID tags on walks.

 

7.    Bitches in season will not be accepted on group walks.

 

8.    No more than four dogs will be walked at any one time.

 

9.    Behavioural problems must be pointed out and explained at time of booking. Failure to do so may result in additional charges or cancellation of any future contract.

10.   ‘You’d Be Barking Not 2’ holds no responsibility/cannot be held liable for any loss, injury or death to a pet either inside or outside of the home whilst in our care.

 

11.   All dogs will be exercised on lead unless prior agreement has been reached and the client reads and signs a disclaimer.

 

12.   ‘You’d Be Barking Not 2’ reserves the right to cut short any walk if necessary due to bad weather i.e. heat, thunder storms, blizzards, extreme ice and snow for the safety of the dog and the handler.

 

13.   Any medical conditions must be explained and any medication provided with adequate instruction if necessary.

 

14.   A key must be provided and to be used by ‘You’d Be Barking Not 2’ solely to collect dog(s) from address at agreed times and return dog(s) and for no other purpose. The key will be kept safe at all times. I will not copy it and will not let anyone else use it (unless authorised to do so). I will return key(s) to the client at the end of the contract.

 

15. ‘You’d Be Barking Not 2’ reserves the right to cancel any contract at any time and with immediate effect if a dog(s) doesn’t respond positively.

 

16.  Any cancellations within 48hours of the booking will still be charged.

 

17.  ‘You’d Be Barking Not 2’ can’t be held responsible for any burglaries or accidents caused by your pets whilst in my care.

18.  If keys are to be picked up charges will be applied for each trip to cover petrol/travel expenses and time.

 

19.  Photos of clients pets will be used on the website and Facebook page for ‘You’d Be Barking Not 2’ solely for the purpose of promoting the services of ‘You’d Be Barking Not 2’.

 

20.  Payments to be made in cash or via bank transfer/standing orders at the latest by the end of the first week of services been provided and no later.

18.           A confirmation will be sent to you once a booking has been made.

 

19.           Payment to be made in cash or via bank transfer/standing order on or before the first day of the pet sit. Please note I do not accept cheques.

Disclaimer

off the lead walks require you to read and sign this disclaimer

This disclaimer is designed to give full clarity of responsibilities when off the lead walks are required by the owner/carer.

 

I …………………………   ………………………… give permission for ‘You’d Be Barking Not 2’ to walk my dog(s) off the lead in a suitable and safe area.

 

I understand that I will not hold ‘You’d Be Barking Not 2’ responsible if my dog(s) causes any damage to property, other animals (including livestock), or people.

 

I therefore take full responsibility of the actions of my dog(s) whilst off the lead and in the care of   ‘You’d Be Barking Not 2’
